I feel like I’m back in school dealing with a Lagrangian Mechanics problem.
I feel like I’m close to solving it but it’s not working…
I usually figure it out after bashing my head against the wall for a while so it should be fine.

It’s funny how Japanese people have figured out this way of living in your own very tight little personal bubble.
Unless they’re actively engaged in communicating with someone they all seem to have the same blank expression.

それに外で話し合う人って(大人では)少ないですよね。
何でしょう、これは?
カナダにいて通行人の顔を見るほうがいろいろな表情が見れる気がします。
しかもそのデフォルト顔ってしかめっ面に近い時が多いんですよね、男性でも女性でも。
笑ったほうが可愛いし格好いいと思うのは自分だけだろうか?

I see now, that’s why I think more women as attractive in Canada than Japan, and why most of the people I think I find attractive in Japan to be restaurant servers or cahiers…
This would probably change if I met more people, but I don’t have a special life to speak of in Japan except hanging out with the other interns, which is fine but I would like to get to know some more natives.

ちなみの寮のご飯は平日毎日以下のように三品と食べ放題のご飯と汁物。
