On a ferry to Wakayama from Tokushima:
OK, so there’s a little more to the day than just looking at the park, which is interesting in its self but doesn’t make for much of a story, just lots of nice pictures.
Coughing everywhere, so I’ll be brief.
Breakfast was udon, which is apparently famous in the Kagawa prefecture.
They say that the people there eat it as a staple food.
Walking through a shopping arcade, apparently one of the longest ones in… I actually don’t know what the category was.
Next was the Ritsurin park made by some daimyo of old Japan.
Perfected over several generations it is one beautiful garden/park.
Then it was quickly off to the ferries to get off of the island of Shikoku and back to the mainland where our next hotel was.
If we hadn’t made this one, it would have put a major wrench into our plans…
Depicted is the appetizer.
They were about to close but let us in for a quick meal before we headed back to our rooms, went to the nearest convenience store to get drinks for the night, and then prepared for bed.
Tomorrow is the last day of the trip in Osaka.
Then it’s home to one day of doing nothing.
Work begins Monday.
Oh work, why must must our love/hate relationship continue like this…
