First day working for the other section in our group.
It’s definitely more hardware related and this comes with its perks and problems.
On the one hand, it’s nice to work and actually see things physically come together.
On the other, you need the stuff you physically put together at hand to actually put it together.
I haven’t gotten used to it yet, so work is slow to start.
Basically, the same thing’s happening as it did when I first joined the company.
I guess I get to test theories on how to deal with it now.
In Hakata, the first place we went in our trip, there were no power lines along the main road.
All of the street lights were as pictured: four long pillars of steel (or aluminum?).
They apparently all run underground.
Definitely makes for a better skyline but I wonder if they’re OK with earth quakes?
