We finally finished and submitted our project proposal that was supposed to be handed in about a week ago.
I’m thankful they gave us an extension since at the time we had no meeting with the sponsor and didn’t know anything about what they wanted.
But with this, I’ve had less than 12 hours of sleep in the last 72 hours.
So tired this morning that I almost slept through my alarms…
I walked through the rain to the train station to have a meeting with my parter for the project. (Note that I’ve confirmed that I work better when writing in the comfort of my home where I don’t have to worry about anything, but that’s for another time)
I saw this leaf in the middle of the street and walked straight past it first before backtracking to take a picture of it.
Quite remarkable that a leaf managed to land like this and collect a bit of water inside.
The inside is no doubt lined with little hairs that keep that water beaded up like that.
It’s also (and probably more) remarkable that no one stepped on this leaf.
We have a tendency to not care about what’s under our feet and keep walking.
I stopped to take this picture because I had time that day (or so I thought).
I feel I’m missing out a little on the small things in life because of the amount of stuff I need to do…
All the more motivation to finish things faster than they should be done.
But before that, sleep…
