So, classes are done, project is over with, and there’s no more homework (except one).
Free from having up to 6 deliverable assignments each week.
Free from having at least one midterm a week (though near the end I started questioning the reason we call them midterms when only a fraction of them happen ± a week of the halfway point…).
All I have now are finals that will decide almost half of my total grade (and one assignment due after my first two midterms).

This term there were two courses that were bothersome.
One took up a lot of time and the other was frustrating (not that all the other courses aren’t frustrating).
The project took up all time not spent on homework, attending lecture, studying, or doing martial arts (the one exception to studying).
In the end we got stuff done (not what we said we’d do at the beginning, but we got stuff done).
Hopefully the next group will now be better equipped to produce a product like the sponsor wanted this time.

Our paper lamp by the end. (A prototype product, completely self folding, and it lights up!)

Anyway, to celebrate finishing classes my roommates and I had salmon yesterday.

So much salmon...

Smoked salmon and sashimi grade salmon sliced up by yours truly.
It comes apart very nicely if you cut along the grains of the meat just like you would cut along the grains of the wood if you were cutting wood.
It’s all gone now though. Three people were more than enough to finish it in two days.
