So, it rains lots in Vancouver (though the ads will have you believe it’s beautiful all year round).
Every time I bike to school in the rain my shoes get wet, soaked through, get my feet wet, and eventually break down.
So I decided to make a pair of shoe covers for when I bike.

Putting that thought aside, the results were decent and functional though just about as robust as I figured it would be (not very robust).
My shoes went from being soaked from a ride to being almost completely dry with this shoe cover.
The only difficulty is that the shoe covers have to be put on before the shoe is put on and that it looks like it won’t stand up to long term testing for now.
But that’s what iterations are for right? Version 2 will be better and will be able to be put on after the shoe is on.

Left over shower curtain and duct tape. That's really all you need, right? something waterproof and some other waterproof way to stick pieces of the waterproof thing together.
